Bernard Buffet (1928-1999) was born in Paris, France, Chevalier de la Legion d’honneur. Painter of Expressionism and a member of l’homme Temoin anti-abstract art group. He created more than 8000 paintings and prints. His artworks are in many Museums across the world, 1973 the Bernard Buffet 1st Museum was founded in Surugadaira, Japan.
