Jean Carzou
Jean Carzou (1907-2000) was a French-Armenian artist, painter, and illustrator. He received his education in Cairo, Egypt, before moving to Paris in 1924 to study architecture. In 1977, Carzou was elected a member of the Institut de France, Académie des Beaux-Arts, and he was also awarded the National Order of Merit of France. Additionally, a museum dedicated to Carzou’s work is located in the town of Dinard.
