Vincent Van Gogh
Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853-1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who became one of the most famous and influential figures in Western art history after his death. He is known for bringing a greater sense of emotional depth to painting and is considered the father of Expressionism. In just a decade, he created around 2,100 artworks, including approximately 860 oil paintings, with most of them dating from the last two years of his life.
