Zao Wou-ki (1920 -2013), a Chinese-French painter, was widely regarded as one of the foremost Chinese contemporary painters of the 20th century. He passed away at the age of 93. He was a member of the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and many of his works are in art collections and Museums.
